No one deserves a pass when lives are at stake. I will not give anyone a pass. I do not care
the color of your skin or the position you may have, you will NEVER receive a pass or any excuse
for your actions. Not now, not ever!!
President Barack Obama made a statement about Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. and
Mr. Gates’ arrest. I have heard some say that Obama was in error when he said the police
acted "stupidity." I have heard from both Blacks and Whites that Obama should have declined to
answer the question. Well, he answered the question and now so what? I do not care! So what?
Everyone says many things that should have said, but they are still living; it is life and life will go
on. I do not have any qualms about what Obama said as I do not view it as an important issue; at
least not at the moment.
reminded america that there is still a problem with
race in THIS country. In addition, we should
make note that just because he is the president of
a white country, does not mean that racism does
not exist. Some people have already forgotten
about the 60 or so Black children who were
booted in Philadelphia. Quick reminder: The
Creative Steps Day Camp paid more than
$1900 to The Valley Swim Club.
first visit to the pool suggested otherwise. "When the minority children got in the pool all of
the Caucasian children immediately exited the pool." Horace Gibson, parent of a day camp
child, wrote in an email. "The pool attendants came and told the black children that they did
not allow minorities in the club and needed the children to leave immediately." The next day
the club told the camp director that the camp’s membership was being suspended and their
money would be refunded. "There was concern that a lot of kids would change the
complexion … and the atmosphere of the club," John Duesler, President of The Valley Swim
Club said in a statement.
That was just 14 days ago! There are many newsworthy cases of racism but is not reported.
Racism is alive. It did not take a holiday, but is ongoing and it has not and will not end with a
Black man as President of these divided states.
Nevertheless, racism is not the issue; at least not at this time. It is going to be here but what about
healthcare as well as increasing energy and food prices? Will we, The People of the united states
of america continue to be forced to pay high medical premiums? Will congress go on vacation
before they tackle and succeed in healthcare reform? The american people need a recess! A
recess from increasing medical bills? A recess from increasing water and electricity bills! A
recess from increasing food prices – namely dairy products! Recesses from seeking jobs that are
not there! Will we continue to struggle while our government sees no reason to do the job we
hired them to do? The american People need a break!

already have affordable healthcare. And I’ve said it more than once – in
fact, I’ve lost count how many times I’ve said it, but I’ll say it again:
when it’s not their problem, it’s not a problem. ALL of our government
officials receive lifetime benefits, so what’s the big deal? Perhaps all of
us regular everyday citizens should become government officials so we
too could have lifetime benefits.

presidents? What about SOME of that money?
struggling to pay their bills. Simply, we need to spend that $4,000,000,000 on The People and allow former presidents pay
for their own protection.
Seems like a waste to me and I know I am not missing the fact that when presidents leave office, they simply say that are
going to live a regular live… the average ol' Joe. Well, the average Joe is not relying on nor receiving special protection.
Instead, we rely on our local police department, but even here in Denver, Colorado, they are scarce. Money is tight all
over, but we The People are surviving with local protection. I believe they should use the secret service to protect the
last president who just left office, but the rest of them should be on their own; like the average everyday american. This
should be standard for all presidents. When Obama is no longer president, then George W. Bush will no longer receive it.
In the mean time, I will not excuse Barack Obama, our senate, congressional members, or any of our government
officials from refusing to stay in the fight; fighting for The People. I voted for them to work for ME, and I REFUSE to
grant them a vacation they did not earn. (Personally, I cannot recall the last time I took a vacation. I wish I would! It is
too expensive! If I did, I would be sitting and living with the other unfortunate people who were forced into foreclosure.)
officials are taking a vacation.? Who is upset by this?

type of game? …to pussyfoot around? Healthcare is not the only

Until The american People have the means of saving themselves, my flag will remain in its current position.

important and all. Nevertheless think about if you added some great visuals or video clips to give your
posts more, pop! Your content is excellent but with images and video clips, this site could certainly be one
of the best in its field. Good blog!

We could not agree more about adding additional clips and other ideas, but most of us are working 9
to 5 jobs. (We certainly cannot afford to give up our day jobs until some of our other plans pan
out.) However, if you have time, you might find some pages of interest as provided by our
contributors such as some of our family's video clips, Love Lyn Bath & Body for products to treat
your body and/or Bible Stuff for your spiritual walk with God. In addition, please view our site map
page to find additional information.
Thanks for your suggestions and comments!
was curious to find out how you center yourself and clear your thoughts before writing. I have had difficulty
clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there. I do enjoy writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15
minutes are generally wasted simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or tips? Appreciate it!
